Rabbit hunt - is related to the fox hand. In community card poker game, like Texas Hold'em for example, the last of the community cards may not have been drawn due to somebody has already won because everybody else folded. To show the last of the community card at this point is called the rabbit hand, which is not allowed in many poker tournaments and casinos.
Rags - in poker, these refer to poor cards which seem to have small chances of winning.
Rainbow - a rainbow in poker is the three or four of the community cards, which are not suited. They are called a rainbow because they have different suits, resembling a real rainbow, and make the poker table colorful.
Raise - is to place a bet more than the required amount to call. A poker player raises because he has a good hand and is confident to win or he has a bad hand and wishes to make other players at the poker table by raising.
Ram and jam - also signify aggression in a poker player. This is the act of raising or reraising most of the time.
Rebuy - this is the amount of poker chips a poker players gets after his first buy-in.
Redeal - this happens when the cards are dealt wrongly.
River - also known as the fifth street in poker. River, the fifth community card, is drawn in Texas Hold'em Poker after the turn.
River rat - this is the player at the poker table, who at the beginning has the weaker hand, but his fate changes when the river is drawn, and makes him win over the supposedly better hands.
Rock - a rock is also called a tight player. This type of poker player waits for very good hands to play. He rarely calls, unless he has good hands. He is predictable because you know he has good hands when he raises, so you may want to fold if you really do not have that good a hand.
Rush - this happens when a poker player wins huge pots in a row. Sometimes, this is also referred to as "on fir". This is commonly known as winning streak.
